Playing 4 Hope
Hospital Visits

We are lucky to have the University of Missouri as a partner of our organization. Every week, a Mizzou athlete visits a child at the MU Women's and Children's Hospital. During the visit, the athlete spends time bonding with and getting to know the child. They also deliver a gift basket which is generously provided by our sponsors. Gift baskets are filled with various games, gifts, and gear. Prior to the visit, athletes typically send a personalized video of strength and encouragement to the child. Finally, Playing 4 Hope provides matching wristbands to both the child and athlete. The wristband symbolizes a special bond between the two and reminds the child that the athlete is dedicating their game or meet to them.
Fundraisers

We hold various fundraisers throughout the year. Every dollar raised goes back to the children we serve. When applicable, fundraiser information will be posted on all social media accounts and our fundraising page.
Tailgates
Before every football home game, we set up a tailgate in the waiting room of the children's hospital. The tailgate consists of food, beverages, and games and is available for anyone on the pediatric floors. This includes patients, their families, and staff.

In-Kind Donations
​
Every dollar is important to us. While we appreciate monetary donations, we also accept in-kind and food donations. These items will be used during fundraising events or tailgates, respectively.
